Sorry to let you down!<\/p>\n<p>Fair weather Alex Treadway didn&#8217;t visit from base camp today (there is low lying mist which makes it a bit chilly) and so no update from him. I am assuming though that the sites I mentioned yesterday have been updated and they can confirm that Billi is now down at camp two.<\/p>\n<p>Your correspondent is just recovering from trying to run 10km at this altitude and may go over to base camp later to\u00a0 get a news update after a couple more cups of tea. All being well though, Billi will be in basecamp tomorrow morning and the entertaining 3,000 word blog essays will be resuming with in a day or two.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No news this afternoon from Gorak Shep.
